I was never quite partial to blogs with an abundance of reblogged photos and photo lyric signs and live shots of bands but i have sort of found an appreciation of them today. I usually love posts with big blocks of text, but there’s beauty in a photo of traffic in transit in Tokyo, images of Tower Bridge while it’s raining whatever, it’s all visuals and i don’t understand why i never saw that before.

Currently watching the Brand New set from The Movielife’s last show, while I’m simultaneously feeling upside down all together. I finished my last exam for this year last Thursday four days ago and i now (as much as i was looking forward to this point) feel a sense of dread at the expectation and all the inevitable pitfalls that might follow from this big gap of nothing (articulate right) in my schedule now. I’m looking for things (people, anything) to fill my summer with. On a side-note i look forward to going to the local fair near me and throwing up on the big ferris wheel next to Vanessa or something. I can’t yet i still can wait. Its incredible I’m definitely probably the most defeatist pessimistic motherfucker alive hahaha. As odd as it sounds i’d be pretty happy to not do anything for five months seeing as i accomplished most of what i had set out to do this year in the first 4 months of this year, all will be revealed soon i swear.

Dammit i still need to get some ink done.

Playing Summerslam in leeds this year in August which shall be pretty dope, first proper show and all. Rumor Mill (George Noble’s new band), The WInter Passing, Driveway and Nai Harvest are on the bill so no doubt im going to be a douche and breech some unwritten etiquette for support bands and whatever hahaha, I wouldn’t be able to help it though.

I’m debilitating over possibly playing a small tour with All For Amends, that would be cool and would pretty much top off the vanilla chocolate swirl sundae that has been this year already.

Seeing The Starting Line for the first time at 21 years of age was such a nostalgic feeling especially as it was their Say It Like You Mean It show anniversary show. Amazing.

Exam period is nearly upon me. As soon as i finish these last two assignments its all go (sorry for the over elaborate expressions). Listening to the Get Downwrite podcast (Bob Nanna songwriting podcast). Not that it has any relevance to any intentions i have per se, just for kicks really (there i go again, fuck). These next few weeks. Not too mention i will be seeing The Starting Line play Say It Like You Mean It in full, dare me to get a selfie with Kenny Vasoli, I will try. It would be a really odd picture though. Im looking forward to crowd-surfing on unsuspecting 25 year old women. It will be my first record anniversary show so it will be quite the spectacle for me. I forsee trouble with getting back home but i have trekked through London til 7 in the morning before after a gig to wait for the next train home so i doubt it will be as miserable as the first experience. If you are curious it involved walking across tower bridge at 3 in the morning in the cold and glaring at people in moving cars, pretty surreal and tiring.
